Streaky Bacon with Spaghetti Carbonara

Keells- Krest Streaky Bacon

INGREDIENTS: Bacon with Spaghetti Carbonara
500 gms Spaghetti – Boiled in salted and oily water
150 gms Keells- Krest Streaky Bacon – Cut into small pieces
2 pods garlic – Cleaned, washed and finely chopped
250 gms large onion – Cleaned, washed and cut into dices
4 Fresh Eggs, 100 gm Parmesan Cheese – Grated
Salt and pepper – To taste
¼ tsp rosemary & ¼ tsp thyme – Fresh or dried, Finely
chopped, 1 tsp parsley – finely chopped
4 tbsp oil, ½ cup fresh cream
PROCEDURE:
Cook the spaghetti in salted and oily boiling water. Fry Keells
Streaky Bacon in a separate shallow frying pan unit crispy
and mix garlic and onion. Beat eggs in a bowl, add 50 gms of
Parmesan cheese, rosemary thyme, salt and pepper to taste
and mix well and keep aside. When the spaghetti is cooked,
drain, return it to the shallow frying pan with bacon, pour
and stir in the beaten egg mixture. The heat of the pasta is
sufficient enough to cook eggs. Mix well, add cream and
remove from the heat. Transfer if to a serving platter,
sprinkle parsley to the top and serve immediately with
Parmesan cheese as a condiment.
